 Cordiam is a
supplier of drilling equipment and has been designing and producing
diamond core bits and fittings for over 30 years.
It was established in Guanzate, near Como, in 1972 by Giuseppe Gorni
and, in short time, this small company made itself known on the Italian
market by offering its own products and after sales service to the most
important drilling companies.
After achieving experience on the national market, Cordiam started to
export its products in Europe and in the world.
From its establishment the company has always offered to its customers
versatility and know-how aiming to meeting every drill site
requirement.
It has established relations of mutual cooperation with many companies
working in the geotechnical and mining research, in industrial and
civil engineering, in restoration work and demolition in order to solve
specific problems.
Cordiam customers take advantage of the experience achieved during all
these years. In 1990 it moved to its present seat of 5000 m2, always in
Guanzate (production area 2000 m2, offices 500 m2).
It has established relations of mutual cooperation with many companies
working in the geotechnical and mining research, in industrial and
civil engineering, in restoration work and demolition in order to solve
specific problems.
Currently the increasing demand on diamond tools and special equipment
for cutting and drilling of all kind of material has found in Cordiam a
successful producer and supplier.
Cordiam, for example, is working together with specialised companies in
order to produce drilling equipment for the space sector.
All these factors contribueted to Cordiam?s success, a leading European
company in the world.
