Cordiam’s diamond core bits successfully apply several advanced technologies to ensure superior performance in every application and adapt to different situations, thanks to the profiles specifically designed for different degrees of material hardness.
Impregnated
Impregnated core bits are available with different impregnation heights (8 mm for single and double corers, 10 or 13 mm for wire line corers) and two different profiles:
– flat profile
– W profile
For thick core bits, such as the T6S and wire line models, front drains can be created to improve water flowing over the diamond and facilitate debris removal.
Embedded
Available with different profiles:
– Round Profile
– Semi-round Profile
– Step Profile
– Sawtooth Profile Various diamond grit sizes are also available: 15/20 – 30/40 – 40/60
PCD
PCD core bits are available, depending on the thickness, with PCD inserts measuring 8×3 mm and 13×8 mm in diameter.
TSP
TSP core bits are available with cube sizes of 3x3x3 or 5x5x5.
Tungsten Carbide
Tungsten carbide core bits are available, depending on the thickness, with octagonal 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 10-mm prisms.
