Fundamentally,
this kind of drilling batteries are composed by drill rods and cutting
tools called BIT. There are different kind of BIT: cormet, corpax and
corset according to the material to be drilled. To limit borehole
deviations and vibrations, it is worth to use one or more stabilizers
positioned after the bit.
