AIR/WATER
TAKER-IN FOR CORE DRILLING MACHINES
|
It is necessary, in particular situations (deep boreholes, loss of
fluid caused by the material facturation, the excessive overheating of
the cutting tool, insufficient flushing of cuttings), to use higher
pressures and drilling fluid capacities than the standard level, but at
the same time, the seals of traditional core drilling machines can be
damaged if they are eccessively stressed. Therefore, Cordiam has
developed the air/water injection heads which can work at the following
conditions: |

The takers-in can be realized with any thread or clutch.

NEBULISER
|
This product permits to mix the air, which is usually used for the dry
drilling, with a precise quantity of water, so that it is possible to
increase the thermical changes between the tool and the drilling fluid.
In this way, extremely hard materials can be dry cut without any water
dispersion.
The system is composed by special diamond core bits CORDIM, air/water
taker-in and nebuliser.

has developed some special tools to create niches inside rock blocks or
concretes for the blocking of tie rods or to increase the contact
surface of resin or grouting for injections.
